We’ve been counting the days until we can finally announce our latest designer collaboration! Mixbook is thrilled to reveal our new collection in partnership with Oh Joy!.

About Oh Joy!

Launched in 2005 as a graphic design studio, Oh Joy! is now a lifestyle brand and design studio that includes various licensed product lines and a daily editorial content with a focus on design, fashion, food, and joyful moments from everyday life.
Founder and Creative Director, Joy Cho, has authored three books and consulted for hundreds of creative businesses around the world. Joy has been named one of Time’s 30 Most Influential People on the Internet and has the most followed account on Pinterest with almost 13 million followers.

Where did you find inspiration for this collection?

Since this collection is about memories and preserving them in a fun way, I was inspired by the various types of life experiences people have that they’d want to remember forever. From annual vacations and girls’ trips to birthday parties and school years…they are all part of life's moments worth celebrating and remembering.

What about this collection are you most proud/excited about?

We wanted to bring the color and happiness of Oh Joy! to our photo journals but also make it easy for you to customize for your needs. All of the books have layouts designed by Oh Joy!, so it’s easy for you to add your own images to what we’ve created for you but then make it your own, too.

Why were/are you excited to design for Mixbook?

Mixbook has such a great variety of formats and products that made them the perfect partner for this collection of books and our fun fact cards!

Which theme is your favorite from the collection and why?

Oh, it’s so hard to pick! I’m personally a fan of the Cheerful Days Yearbook because it’s such a fun way to recap your child’s school year with your own treasured photos.
