1: Railroad in Hannibal Hannibal is known by the great history of railroads. In Missouri the first railroad that went across the state was made in 1859.

2: California Gold Rush The California Gold Rush in 1849 effected Hannibal. More than 200 men around Hannibal went to California for gold digging. Some of these men came back with money.

3: Mark Twain Cave The Mark Twain cave was found in the Winter of 1819. A man named Jack Sims discovered this cave. The Mark Twain Cave is also the oldest show cave in Missouri.

4: The Star Theater | The Star Theatre was built in 1906. You can dine in there and watch play even now! There are also classic movie shown in the theater too.
