The first time I saw Bon Jovi in person. These Days Tour- free concert in Houston, TX . Woodlands Pavillion, Saturday, September 23, 1995. I got a pass from the trash, went backstage and met Dave.
2000 Kiss Party, Friday, June 9, 2000 Won lawn tickets then called back and won 3rd Row Tickets at Smirnoff Center
Kiss Party 2000 I was so excited. You had to call in to get tickets and I managed to get lawn tickets and Tonya was flying into Dallas from Corpus for the show. The day of the concert they were giving away tickets for the first 3 rows. I called from work and everyone was around me- I was so excited when I got through- I was on the radio but they through a curve ball and said I had to call again to get the tickets- I was like REALLY! So I did and got through almost immediately- the DJ asked how I did it! I didn't know I just did! I just knew I got 3RD ROW! I was shaking with excitement and called Tonya immediately. It was a great show. We ended up right next to the stage and that night I grabbed Jon's ankle. :)
Stood in line for Bon Jovi tickets for the 2001 One Wild Night tour. May 2, 2001
After the show I remember a friend attended a Bon Jovi after party at the Four Season in Houston so I thought why not try it in Dallas. When security saw my car with Bon Jovi all over it they told me to keep going. I parked at the Holiday Inn and walked to the Four Seasons Bar. Tonya grabbed my knee and said there he is. It was so surreal. Like looking at a magazine cover but it was REAL. Jon walked outside and we went right behind. I was so nervous. He said he would sign something but didn't want to take any pictures. He said I'm not Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny. Then he asked me for my name and I started rambling and he stood there with the pen and looked and me and smiled- I said Jene. I was so nervous. I looked at it and he wrote Smile, Jon Bon Jovi. Tonya got her autograph and we were on cloud nine. I went to pay for our 2 drinks and the b ill was $150.00 I kept looking at it and the waiter came back and said oops I gave you the wrong receipt. It was an incredible night and the first time we met Jon. Our dreams came true. We finally met Jon Bon Jovi.

Jene', this book is AWESOME!!! You did such a good job and it was like re-living it all over again! I don't see anything wrong with dates or anything. I thought you met Jon the first time after the OWN concert, not KISS Party?? Anyways, I probably remembered wrong. I'm on to Volume II now!
