FC: ED 191's Wilkes Mixbook
1: This Mixbook was created by Dr. Dana Burnside's Education 191 class, Integrating Technology Into The Classroom. The Mixbook shows all the reasons why someone should come to Wilkes UNiversity. Displaying all the great things the campus, and the surrounding neighborhood, has to offer a student at this university.
2: This is John Wilkes. Wilkes-Barre is named after John Wilkes and in return, Wilkes University is named after the city, Wilkes-Barre. | Wilkes is a private, co-ed university founded in 1933. | Our campus encloses 33 acres and includes: 8 academic buildings, 20 residence halls, and 9 administrative buildings.
3: This is our Wilkes Shuttle that transports students. | These are our emergency towers posted around campus for students safety. | Make memories | with friends | who become family.

5: Many students come to Wilkes for our Nursing and Pharmacy programs, some of the best in the state! | Mathematics is Sarah's major. She really loves the teachers; they are willing to help whenever you need it! | Political Science is Miles' major. He enjoys the stimulating and intellectual debates on current political issues in his classes. | Wilkes has a wonderful Education Department, with great students and inspirational faculty!

12: The Manuscript Society was established in 1947, and produces two literary arts magazines per school year. Students can enroll in a Manuscript class for one credit. The current faculty advisers are Dr. Mischelle Anthony and Dr. Sean Kelly. The head editor is Justin Jones.
13: The Inkwell Quarterly is a student-based publication in the English department of Wilkes University. Students can also take this for one credit. Students can join the Inkwell staff if they have a major/minor in English. Students write articles about English department topics, conduct professional interviews, and edit material. The faculty adviser is Dr. Marcia Farrell. The managing editor is Matthew Kogoy.

22: Wilkes categorizes their clubs into various categories, such as: Academics, Arts, Athletics Community Service, Cultural, Entertainment, Environment, Faith, Honor Societies, Military, Music, Political, Student Interests, and Student Gov't. | There really is a club for everyone! | Every September, Wilkes holds "Club Day" on the GREENWAY for students to see what each and every club has to offer. | Clubs and Organizations
