THis is a very nice book. You did a great job of meshing the scenery with the personal vacation.

good work Tiffany great story telling, nice framed photos, and smart photo bordering... ***** (the best time to capture the sea colorful and cristal sharp is early in the morning, or at noon placing the camera view for about 60 degrees above the sea surface, check mine for exmpl)

Hawaii 2007 - Page Text Content

FC: Hawaii 2007 Oahu and Maui Oahu and Maui

The first day began early...pre-dawn early with a 5:15am flight from Oahu to Maui. I've got chubby cheeks b/c I've got some bagel in my mouth.

The Road to Hana was an interesting day trip. From spitballs, to lonely dog guarding private road, to road-blocking constructions, it was full of surprises and wonders. The poor student driver learning how to drive on this road.

First waterfall opportunity at Hanawi Falls. Still cold and drizzly at 9am.

Sun finally broke through by the time we got to Wai'anapanapa Black Sand Beach.

 Wailua Falls, Maui

It was so windy at 7 Sacred Pools! I think I almost toppled over a few times.

7 Sacred Pools felt like the destination of this roadtrip because we headed back to Kahului after leaving this gorgeous place.

 Yay! My sorta-secret, hidden waterfall.

Oooh, my first malasada from Leonard's Bakery! | Actually, it became my first two malasadas since just one wasn't enough.

My first Hawaiian shave ice from Waiola (on McCully). We unanimously agreed that this location has finer, more fluffy shave ice than the Waiola on Kapahulu. Hooray for hole-in-the-wall places!

When we hit up Wal-mart and Costco, we stocked up on chocolate-covered macadamia nuts...and other junk food essentials. How could we not? Look at Wal-mart's display!

Germaine's Luau Is it just me or are their complimentary cocktails quite strong?

The jump-off rock at Waimea Bay, North Shore which I did NOT jump off, but 3 of my friends did.

I probably shouldn't be smiling in a photo taken at Pearl Harbor, but it was such a sunny and breezy day that I couldn't help it.

 USS Arizona Memorial

I learned how to surf! Surfing >>> Snowboarding

He also learned how to surf!

Wayne Gabaylo, the spray-paint artist of Art In Motion | http://www.aimhawaii808.net/

view from top of Diamond Head

 the Diamond Head hikers!

Hanauma Bay I got a nasty tan line from snorkeling too long, a number of bruises and scrapes on my legs, and a bunch of underwater pictures that didn't turn out well. But all in all, what an experience!

Aww, our last night in Hawaii...so we drank a whole lotta pitchers of beer. My rosy complexion is a combination of sun exposure from snorkeling and Asian glow (although, the latter is probably the major contributing factor).
