FC: ...a few days in the life... January to June 2007
Hi. I'm Rebecca. Thanks for letting me share with you some of my life in 2007. | Each day is like one of these stones, adding color & beauty, memorials on my life's path.
This year started off with a splendid trip to Lake Tahoe, where my family vacationed at the Red Wolf Lodge. Perfect for relaxing, walking, snowshoeing, shopping, and snowboarding even straight into the lodge.
Our Father - Daughter walk by the beautiful river.
Silly Sisters in Snow Shall We Be White snow. Shining Sun. Laughter times ten.
Rebecca go PLOP. | Angel-making action! | How's it coming? | Finishing touches...
 ...snowmobiling... definitely memorable
SURPRISE!! Happy 20th Birthday, Tiffany! January 4, 2007 Dog Sledding (I'm amazed we found the location...)
On my 24th birthday, I got to help light my own candles! ;) | Mom made me a cake. Not just any cake - yellow cake & chocolate frosting! | It was a small a party, but I treasured it! Hmm...what should I wish for? | This was great...Thanks Mom for a great morning!
Later we got to go to the Griffith's Observatory! There's a little hike to see the HOLLYWOOD sign up close. Now this is the best birthday present ever! Learning and seeing God's creation! Mom..do we have our tickets???!? ! Mom left after a while, and I got to roam around by myself. So fun.
Hey, Mom...still got our tickets? Surely we need to check every ten minutes that we still have the tickets! After all, we must have a ticket...uh, to use the ticket, for tickets are important. Aren't they?
What a wonderful day. We met up at the observatory, watched an incredible show in the planetarium, and meandered around the exhibits. One huge wall (maybe 30x300 ft), showed a close up of all the galaxies and stars covered by an index finger 1 ft away from your face. Truly, we serve an awesome and creative God.
CAMPBELL, CA Here I am, the newbie to San Jose. Thanks, Mom, for helping me move in and for giving me the special prayer shawl. Thanks to Marla and Elke...the windows are covered! I love my room...the shelf in all it's hassle, tons of candles, and a comfy bed! I've special memories and new friends, thanks to Melody. I think it's gonna be a great place to live...
This ONEthing will I seek... | ...to dwell in the House of the Lord forever.
Beautiful. | Thank you, God, for placing Rebekah, Melody, and Marla in my life. I am grateful for such sweet and genuine friendships.
Glory. My King is alive. | "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for HE HAS RISEN as he said..." Matt 28: 5
Her'es the California Crew team at a Rigata in Sacramento. I don't know a whole lot about this sport, except that you win when ahead. My sister is a Cockswain...Coxes the boat, ya know. She directs and encourages the girls, corrects rower's rythym and usually tells them where they're going. She's good but always loses her voice. It's a hard sport to watch, for you only see the end, just like my sport (cross country). It's great to support them Btw, Cal won nationals last year!
Fun at the museum watching Nate & Ella Rivet.
We had a fun day at the Golden Gate Bridge... Bobby, Tiffy, Daddy, and I walked/ran/ photographed the entire 2 mile length of the bridge and back. | The craziest thing happened upon looking at the pictures later that week. I found this picture of my Mom when she was our age...in nearly the same spot! Fully Unplanned! As they say, Like Mother, Like daughter.
Women's night at the Rieders movie. snacks. pedicures. pillow fights. prayer. fun.
Engagement is a special commitment between one man and one woman. Chris Hume & Lindsey Kennedy Solvang, Ca ~ 3.11.2007
Biking the Los Gatos Creek Trail. Rosemary, Candi, Eric, & me. Candi, watch out for that tree!
We want YOU to join us for our Tuesday morning hikes up the steeeeep hills, down the trails by creeks and covered by lush foliage. We saw deer! And Rosemary did a spider dance. | Rosemary, Sharayah, Candi, and Me on a 5 mile hike to Vista Point, at Rancho San Antonio Park. (doesnt it look like they're posing for a cd cover?)
Congratulations on your graduation from UC Berkeley! BA in Political Science May 2007 Mike Klein and Keila Melendez GO BEARS!
Here are pictures from my self-guided tour on the beautiful SJSU campus. I began working here with ENCM this spring. Go blue & gold!
Muddy Buddy June 10, 2007 Grant Park, SJ, CA
Team Names: Tiffany & Rebecca: "Shwester Ahote" (meaning "sister" in German and Hebrew...our heritage) Thai & Angela: "Made in Argentina" (they met on a mission trip to Argentina & soon became a couple) | 6.5 Miles. 4 Obstacle 1 Mud Pit. Lots of fun.
What a special day! Thai surprised Angela, and popped the question... | "Will you be my Muddy Buddy for life?!"
6 Flags - Discovery Kingdom June 2007 A day with Courtney, Alex, Stephanie, Josh, and Me
Ok, so my friend CHANDEL EMERSON is amazing. En route of her move from Nashville to Aukalnd, we hung out at LAX. She litterally completed the rubix cube in sub 2.5 min! I bear witness.
 Happy Father's Day, Daddy!
June 17, 2007 What a wonderful day. Uncle Jack, Mom, Tiffy, and I went to Trinity. Then Dad joined us for lunch at Pat & Oscar's. Next we headed for Staples to scout out paper, but Mom did excercises instead. Always some funny time with the Pranskys...
This book is simply dedicated by my God. Thank you for the wonderful people & opportunities You have provided. I awe that you know me and yet love me. May my life reflect Your goodness and love. I long to see you face to face. For that momemnt, I will pray, hope, & wait!

Bex, the one page where you split the picture of the landscape into four parts was really creative. You may become a legendary mixbooker someday.
