1: Children learn from their surroundings and recall from memory. By using rhythym and sound patterns teachers can use sound to help students stimulate learning by incorprating: Poems Songs Music
2: Bringing information to children through the senses helps to understand concepts. Visual people think in pictures. Teachers can use: Charts Pictures Diagrams Graphs
3: Hands on activities, promote active learning: Teachers focus on lessons that help students develop skills to learn about the world around them: Lessons that incorporate Fine motor skills help construct knowledge.
4: Sense of smell can help students to recall information. Helping students to build on background knowledge can improve learning.
5: Senses that incorporate taste can help students learn through experiences in order to explore: Possible lesson plans: -Sharing recipies -Have a taste test.
6: Technology can be used to stimulate the senses, and enhance lessons. By using Online Games, Brain Teasers, Memory Games teachers can encourage learning.
