1: This is where our journey begins... Clarion University
2: There are two classrooms in the Speech and Hearing Building, room 116 and 36. | Room 36
3: The Speech and Hearing Building has a Graduate Room and a Materials Room where you can find many ideas for therapy.
4: This is Clarion University's Speech and Hearing Clinic's Waiting Room and the Therapy Room.
5: The Speech and Hearing Building also has an Audiology Room and a Voice Analysis Lab.
6: This is the NSSLHA (National Student Speech-Language & Hearing Association) Bulletin Board. This is a great club to get involved in as a Speech-Language Pathology Major.
7: This is a bulletin board full of job and scholarship opportunites. | This is a board of the alphabet in sign language that can be found on the lower level of the Speech and Hearing Building.
8: SLPs can work in a variety of places after they graduate from college with a Master's Degree. | Elementary School | Private Practice/Clinic | Nursing Home

11: This is the speech therapy room in the Clarion Elementary School.
12: A speech pathologist can also work at a hospital. They can visit patients that are in the hospital or, like Clarion Hospital, they can work in the clinics that may not be in the hospital but are nearby.
13: The rooms in this hospital clinic are very colorful and filled with lots of words and numbers for easy learning!
14: This is the Siler Center here at Clarion University. This preschool also includes special classrooms just used for children who are in speech class.
15: Each station in this classroom includes many activities that focus on each child's concerns.
16: Head Start is another place a speech pathologist can work. This is the Jefferson-Clarion Head Start, Inc.
17: Speech-language therapy is a fairly common treatment among children. A speech disorder refers to a problem with the actual production of sounds, whereas a language disorder refers to difficulty understanding or putting words together to communicate .
18: We also have the opportunity to work with the Intermediate Unit. The speech pathologist works with her children at the Little Bird Preschool in New Bethlehem.
19: Speech pathologists, especially ones working with kids, have tons of games, activities, and tests on hand at all times in order to conduct therapy.
