Foods and drinks - Page Text Content

anglo saxon would go to the mead hall and eat and get drunk. The image that is showing is what they drink and go crazy off of and go to sleep afterwards.

In the mead hall the anglo saxons would have a big feast for the soldiers and the peasants would cook all the food.

The mead hall was there favorite place in town because it was a place for them to have fun after they win battles or when they bored. They had entertainment, food , drinks whatever they wanted

Anglo saxon would drink wine out of a bowl, a sutton hoo which to get there and what ever else they put in it.

The food they would is kind of like what we eat today like pork, corn, peppers, mushrooms, and bread so i don't think its any differents except they really didn't have any sliver wear to eat with.

Anglo-saxons were good cooks and knew how to survive in the wild and the mead hall was there place to eat and drink to get wasted and fall out. They didn't have stoves back then so they use there custom made grills.
