1: Enjoying a Fall Day at Town Lake by Mary Carole Strother

2: What do you enjoy doing on a beautiful fall day?

3: If you spend the day at Town Lake you will see the leaves as they begin to turn beautiful shades of red, yellow, and orange?

4: As you stroll around the lake, you can watch the fountain as it sprays a mist into the air in the center of the lake.

5: You can even spend the day with your fishing pole in the water hoping to reel in a big fish. If the fish aren't biting you might enjoy watching the ripples of the water as the wind blows across the lake.

6: If you get tired while you're walking, you might want to take in the scenery by paddling around the lake in a swan boat.

7: You'll have so much fun, you might accidently think that you are a swan.

8: Don't forget to bring a loaf of bread, so you can feed the ducks that gather along the shore of the lake.

11: You can cross the bridge and take a walk on the nature trail behind the recreation center.

12: in the strangest places. | As you walk along the path be sure and watch for animals that make their homes . . .

15: I think you'll agree that spending time at Town Lake . . . | is a wonderful way to spend a fall day.
