2: 2009 | Dear Reader, By way of the internet, television, cinema, and the printed word, you see the world. From the comfort and safety of your livingroom, you can virtually visit the ski slopes of Colorado, the alligator swamps in Florida, the dry deserts in California, the bear country in Montana. The click of a computer key can help you explore the locations which invite your curiosity, arouse a romantic impulse, or fulfill your need for information. Multiple resources can compose your personal I-Max tour of anywhere in Brazil, the United States ... or around the globe. In this publication of the CTJ Beaver Dam, Elementary 4 students will be your guides; they will tempt your taste buds, tell you what to see and where to sleep in several choice locations in the USA. Would you like a bite of the Big Apple? Is Honolulu really a holiday haven? Will Chicago - "the windy city" - blow you away? Could you lose yourself in the calliope of color and sound in downtown New Orleans? Elementary 4 students have worked hard to bring you a brochure of travel tips which will take you to these and other places with useful information; this is your chance to choose your next vacation destination from the pictures and prose assembled by young adventurers who will some day put their research to the test and go to the places depicted here. This is the first step of the journey. Bon Voyage!
