1: You have heard it on the news Pluto becomes a Dwarf Planet.You heard it in the past Eris becomes dwarf along with Ceres.The three dwarf planets have been annouced time and time again,but really what the world does mean?What makes a Dwarf planet y'know Dwarf?

2: Pluto,the small blue mystery. Pluto has a soft, smooth and icy surface. Pluto has a light blue coloring.Most of Plutos' atmosphere is made up of nitrogen infact 75% of it.The reason that Pluto is so cold is because it is 3,670,050 miles away from the sun.Plutos' temperature can occasionally get to forty decrees. Plutos' coldest temperature can reach-370 degrees.Pluto is a bad place for a vacation.

4: Ceres,the planetary like astroid. The surface of Ceres is hard and rocky.Nasa believes that there is water substance on Ceres.Nasa launched the Dawn spacecraft in September,2007 to study Ceres more closly.Ceres has a gray colored landscape.The Dawn spacecraft has been sent to study Vesta as well. Nasa believes there is ice substance on Ceres. Ceres was discovered by a man by the name of Giuseppe Piazzi from Italy.Ceres was named after a roman goddess.Ceres is located in the belt of astroids found near Mars and Jupiter.

6: Eris,the farthest and coldest pdwarf planet from the sun.eris is located three times as far out as Pluto and is colder than Pluto.Eris' coloring is gray or so it appears.Eris became dwarf 2 years ago .Eris had three names,the first was Xena,then there was Ub313 and the third and current name is Eris.Nasa has given Eris' moon the name of Dysnomia,the demon goddess of lawlessness and the daugther of Eris.Eris was named after the greek goddess of discord and strife.For eris to orbit the sun it takes 557 Earth years. That is 52,915 Earth days.No wonder it is so cold.Nasas'observations of Eris have led them to hypothesis that Eris has an icy surface because they found Nathane in the atmosphere. Nasa has also found Nathane in the atmospheres of Neptune and Uranus.
