ED 191 Summer - Who Are You? - Page Text Content

 Hayley loves to go hiking....

Steph I love to spend time with my family, friends, boyfriend, & God-daughter. I enjoy traveling, & trying new, adventurous things. My favorite place to be is at the beach or outdoors.

I graduated from Marywood University in May 2011 with a Child Studies Degree. I am currently working towards my Elementary Education Certification. I am hoping to teach Kindergarten. | I want to teach Kindergarten because I love children at that age. I think they are so enjoyable and interesting. I also think those years are the most important in their education and I want to impact them. I love to see children learning.

My name is Chase English and I grew up in Vernon, NJ. I have a twin brother and as you can tell from this picture, we get along just great. | I played a variety of sports in high school including baseball, basketball and football.

Professionally I want to be an active teacher who gets his students involved. I also want to integrate the use of technology into lesson plans while still teaching history effectively in the elementary level or higher.

I'm KARLEY <3 I'm 20 and I never want to get old. I love to paint & do Pilates. My family & best friends are everything to me. I love to LAUGH & help others

I graduated in 2009 from Coughlin High School. I'm currently a junior at Wilkes University. I plan to get my teaching certification & become an art teacher :) It's something I would love to do!

My name is Steve "not THE Steve Martin" Martin. In the majority of my free personal time, I work on music projects, writing, performing, and recording on a variety of instruments as often as I can. | Every chance I get, I doodle. More recently I find that I'm usually sketching faces that I make up as I draw. This is a very recent sketch I did during lunch break at work. I love to draw spontaneously.

I have always had a natural tendency toward the sciences. As I advanced through more courses in my academics, I found that I had a knack for explaining concepts to my peers. Teaching a full day of chemistry classes during ED190 validated my confidence in getting students' "lighbulbs" to come on. | I look forward to creating a fun and memorable classroom environment that maximizes students' learning experiences in the science classroom. My goal is to make every science lesson as interactive, as fun, and as thought-provoking as possible.

Sarah Bauman | Some of my favorate things to do are go into NYC to hit the outdoor markets and wine tasting up at the finger lakes. There is a fantastic outdoor market in Union Square that I hit whenever I'm there.

Special Education | Looking toward the future and what I want to accomplish in my teaching career is to make a difference in the lives I influence. Long term goal is to receive my Autism Certificate and teach Kindergarten Autistic Support. I fully believe the earlier you start working with Autistic children the more they can learn and the more than can accomplish.
