3: Simulations Simulations allow learners to experience phenomena that may not otherwise be possible (e.g space flights, historical events, etc.). It increases higher order thinking skills by providing an authentic learning experience that requires students to make decisions and evaluate the consequences. | Examples: Celestia Shambles Learner.org

4: Virtual Field Trips | VFT's allow students to visit places that may be prevented form them due to distance, cost, or management issues. Students feel as though they are really leaving the classroom to take part in a new experience. Engagement soars!

6: Webcams | Webcams allow students to observe phenomena in real time and collect notes or data. This data can be manipulated and analyzed in later activities.
