FC: HAZARD WATCH

Room 9 and 10 went on a Hazard Walk as part of Keeping Ourselves Safe. We looked for hazards and then talked about how we could stay safe around them.

If we have to use these stairs, we should walk carefully and hold the rail. When walking near them we should look where we're going so we don't hit our heads.

To keep safe near the pool, we should learn to swim, and also walk sensibly around the pool.

Running along the wall can be very dangerous so we should stay away!

Our school carpark and other driveways are places where we should stop, look and listen for cars. We should keep away from cars whenever we can.

When we see broken glass, we should walk around it or pick the glass up in a bag. We should also make sure we are wearing shoes.

When we open or shut gates that have sharp points on them, we should watch where we put our hands.

Most of all, whether we are walking near poles, puddles or crack in the ground, we need to have our eyes open and watch where we are going. Then we will stay safe!
