2: MERCURY is the closest planet to the sun in our solar system. | It is smaller than any other planet since PLUTO was demoted! | It's atmosphere is composed of helium and sodium. | MERCURY

3: venus 2nd planet in our solar system. it rotates backwards once every 243 days. venus surface is covered with 1600 volcanoes,mountains,large terrains,craters and lava plains. . | venus atmosphere is carbon dioxide and sulfuric acid it's dense clouds and craters cover it's surface. | VENUS

4: earth 3rd planet in our solar system. this is the only planet where life is known to exist. it's atmospher consists of nitrogen,oxygen,argon,carbon dioxide and water. earth has 7 layers which are the crust,upper mantel, transition regoin,lower mantel,d layer,outer core,iand inner core. earth is over 4 billion years old. | EARTH

5: mars 4th planet from the sun. | it's reddish color is caused by iron and rust in the soil. | mars surface is made up of seasons, volcanoes,canyons,plains,some craters, dune fields, wind . | it's atmosphere is carbon dioxide,nitrogen and argon. | MARS

6: jupiter 5th and largest planet in our solar system is big enough to fit 1000 earths inside of it. | it's atmosphere is hydrogen and heliumwhich contian swirling clouds of gases. | JUPITER

7: saturn 6th planet in our solar system. it is orbited by at least 56 moons. | it,s atmosphere is hydrogen, helium, small amounts of methane ammonia and hydroegn sulfides. | saturns day measures at 10 hours & 45 minutes compared to earths 24 hour day. wow!! the ring around saturn make this planet beautiful. | SATURN

8: uranus is the 7th planet in our solar system. it rotates on it's side. it's day is 17.24 hours. the atmosphere is hydrogen and helium. winds trAVEL AT 650 MILES A MINUTE! THE RINGS THAT SURROUND IT ARE MADE OF ROCK & DUST. | URANUS

9: NEPTUNE atmosphere is hydrogen and helium. winds travel at 650 miles an hour. the rings that surround it are made of rock and dust. | NEPTUNE 7th planet in our solar system also Rotates on its side. it is one of the brightest planets in our solar system. 50 earths fit inside of this planet. uranus day is 17.29 hours. | NEPTUNE

10: pluto was considered 9th planet up until 08/06 when it was demoted becuase of its size. it is so small thaT IT CANNOT BE SEEN WITHOUT A TELESCOPE. ITS ATMOSPHERE IS NITROGEN AND METHANE GAS. | PLUTO

11: OUR SOLAR SYSTEM IS THE MOST FASCINATING PLACE TO TAKE A JOURNEY THROUGH!
