1: These first grade students were asked to write about how many teeth they have lost and what happens when they lose a tooth. This book includes both their written responses and their artwork. Enjoy!

2: I have lost 4 teeth. I lost my first tooth when I was 5 years old. When I lose a tooth I put it in my special pocket and then I put it under my pillow and I dream of the tooth fairy! --Amanda

3: I have lost 7 teeth. I lost my first tooth when I was 6 years old. When I lost a tooth I put my tooth under my pillow and then the tooth fairy came and took it. --Tamer
