1: The mission of this library media center is to be a warm, inviting, welcoming place, where everyone gets the help, tools and technology they need to become 21st century, life-long learners! | Mission Statement:

4: THE BASICS...
5: The library is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You can borrow up to FOUR books at one time Books can be kept for TWO WEEKS Photocopies cost 10 cents.
6: You must have WORK or READING to do. NO eating, drinking, gum, or electronic devices. Computers are for SCHOOL WORK ONLY! You must have your ID CARD. | A FEW RULES...

8: STUDY HALL | 1. Come straight to the library. 2. Fill out a pass at the circulation desk. 4. You must stay in the library for the WHOLE period. | Circulation Desk | STUDY AREA
9: LUNCH & FREE PERIODS | 1. Come to the Library by the bell. 2. If you arrive after the bell, you must have a pass. 3. Sign in to the notebook on the circulation desk. 3. After 20 minutes you can ask for a pass to the lunchroom.
10: -FICTION: Graphic novels, favorite series, many genres -SHORT STORY COLLECTION -NONFICTION: Sports, cars, countries, animals, historical events, etc. -BIOGRAPHIES -REFERENCE Atlases, dictionaries, encyclopedias | A QUICK TOUR... | LIBRARY

13: -Lots of computers -Library Website -Destiny OPAC -Online Databases -Printers
14: FICTION | A FICTION book is a made-up story. Fiction books are arranged in alphabetical order by the authorÂ’'s last name.
15: A NONFICTION book is a true, factual book. NONFICTION books are arranged by Dewey Decimal number. | NONFICTION
16: REFERENCE books are used to look up information. These books do not get checked out.
17: A BIOGRAPHY is a book about a person's life. Biography books are arranged in alphabetical order by the person'Â’s last name.

19: HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT BOOK: | 1. Ask for a suggestion! 2. Use Destiny OPAC. 3. Scan the shelves and book displays. 4. Check the Library website for book trailers, author spotlights, good reads and more!
