1: Samuel Clemens was an amazing writer. He even invented the comic strips in the sunday paper! He wrote a lot of books on his journey down the MI. River.

2: On his journey on the Mississippi River, Samuel wrote the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer.

5: Samuel Clemens actually believed in slavery. He infact, did own slaves. When the Civil War broke out he fought for the Confederacey.

7: Samuel Clemens had many jobs. He was an amazing writer. His brother owned a newspaper company and the two often worked together. Samuel also was a sailsmen along the MI. River where his publishing began.

9: Since Samuel became an author, he changed his name to Mark Twain.

11: He did a lot of his writing in San Fransisco and Neveda.

13: He was born in Florida, Missouri.

15: On April 21st, 1910, samuel Clemens died of heart failior.
