6: The Story: Bella Swan came to live with her father in Forks, Washington, the rainiest location in the United States. She encounters the mysterious Edward Cullen, an unusual student to whom she is strangely attracted. Edward maintains a distance until he saves her life in a accident at school. Slowly, Bella comes to understand there is something very unusual about Edward and the entire Cullen family.

7: Review: Twilight is a book about the choices that we make and how we choose to live with the cards that we are dealt. The Cullen family, although vampires, has chosen to live in a way that does not harm human life. Bella Swan also chose to come to Forks to live with her father in order to allow her mother to have time with her new husband. The love story in the novel is very romantic. Edward is the ideal romantic lead. He is a strong but tortured individual, determined to do the right thing to protect Bella.
