1: THE SUN IS THE KING OF OUR SOLAR SYSTEM. ITS SURFACE IS A WARM 6,000 DEGREES CELCIUS!
2: Mercury is the closet planet to the sun. It also has craters, like the Earth's moon.
3: The atmosphere of Venus makes it too hot to live there. If you weighed 70 pounds on Earth, you would weigh 63 pounds on Venus! | VENUS
4: The Earth is the third planet from the Sun! | THE EARTH | The Earth has only one moon.
5: MARS | Mars was the Roman god of war and agriculture. If you weighed 70 pounds on Earth, you would weigh 27 pounds on Mars!
6: JUPITER | Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system. | Jupiter is 90% hydrogen and 10% helium.
7: SATURN is the second largest planet and it takes 29.5 Earth years to revolve around the sun.
8: URANUS is the seventh planet from the sun and the third largest in the solar system.
9: NEPTUNE | The strongest wind on any planet was measured on Neptune. | If Neptune were hollow, it could contain 60 Earths!
