FC: A Day At the Lake Told By: Mary Ann Blanke Booklet By: Kevin Blanke

1: My Dad, John, use to go up to Cuddlebackville, New York to go to a river to relax with his family. It was he, his sister Suzanne, and his parents.

2: My Dad and his family rented a canoe to paddle around the lake. They were talking, fishing, and having a really fun time. Then out of nowhere, a frog jumped into the boat.

3: Cuddlebackville, New York

4: My dad, being 5 years old, wanted to keep the frog, so he tied a string onto the frog, and put it under his foot, so the frog couldn't go anywhere.

5: The frog was fighting to get free so much, that the whole family could hear the frog literally cry. My grandmother said it sounded like a wounded puppy.

6: My grandfather finally convinced my dad to put it back into the lake. Althought my dad was extreamly sad, he let the frog go. When he let go, the frog swam into the swampy woods. They never saw the frog again.
