S: Aiden's Vacation 2010

FC: Aiden's Vacation 2010

1: In September 2010, while Mommy and Daddy were on a two week vacation in Italy you took your own vacation. The first week Aunt Vicki and Uncle Robert came to stay with you at your house. On September 17th you came to stay with us in PA. We met Aunt Vicki and Uncle Robert at Pappy Max and Bette's house. We then went for lunch at the Station House Restaurant down the road from their house in Montgomery. Afterwards, we headed home and your adventure with us began.!! (Uncle Robert had taught you the O.H.I.O motions so one of the first things we did was teach you..."We Are...Penn State.)

2: On Saturday, you spent the day with Aunt Erin, Uncle Jason, Olyvia, Gage and Izabella at Knoebels Amusement Park. You didn't ride many rides but you had fun nonetheless.

3: SATURDAY | fun | buddies

4: The gnats were so bad we barely got this pix! | S U N D A Y

5: We spent Sunday with Aunt Erin, Aunt Becca and your cousins Olyvia, Aurora, Gage, Abrianna, Izabella, Will and Dalton. Before we headed into the zoo we had a picnic at one of the park's pavilions.

8: PA GRAND CANYON

9: It started to rain shortly after we got to the lookout so we didn't stay long. We hung out under this pavilion, took some photos and then headed home after having another picnic. | FAMILY

10: MONDAY | Since you had two busy days on Saturday and Sunday, we decided to stay home today. It was a pretty nice day so Nini decided it would be a good day to clean out the garage loft. We threw away, organized and found some neat souvenirs for you to take home. We took a break for lunch (pizza) and then you got to talk to Mommy and Daddy via Skype. Then it was back out to the garage to finish up. You helped Pappy burn all the boxes we emptied. We got cleaned up and went to Grace Buffet for dinner. You watched Monday Night Football with Pappy and fell asleep in his lap.

12: Miniature golf and the arcade with Uncle Justin and Amanda was on the agenda for this day. Uncle Justin said you won. | TUESDAY

13: After Hooplas and a stop at Uncle Justin's work picnic, we met you at Red Lobster for dinner where you ordered your very own mac and cheese dinner. You were really silly which was our cue that you were tired and sure enough you fell asleep in the car on the way home.

14: We headed out to go to the Little League Museum only to find out that it was closed. So we headed to Reptiland. It's a small zoo but you enjoyed it. We met Rocky and Adrienne the alligators and saw lots of snakes, frogs and lizards.

15: W E D N E S D A Y

17: You picked out a small plastic turtle, frog, lizard and alligator as souvenirs. We wanted to buy you a shirt or stuffed animal but you said, "I have all I need." | LUNCH

18: On our way home, we stopped at the overlook on Rt. 15.

19: Dairy Queen was our next stop...I think I see a pattern of ice cream

20: THURSDAY | We started today off with breakfast at Aunt Leslie's Cafe. She was pretty busy so we didn't get to visit much but she managed to stop long enough to get her pix taken with you. | Then we headed to Pappy's favorite place...CABELAS. While we were there, the NY Times interviewed Pappy. On Sunday, September 26, 2010 we had "3 paragraphs of fame"

25: ICE CREAM... | ...AGAIN

26: We didn't do much today. Pappy cleaned out the bottom of the garage, I cleaned up inside and you played outside. Around 2:30 we went to Hoss's...where you had MORE ice cream... and then we took you to Noni's house for the weekend. | F R I D A Y

27: You called this your "doggy house" You were hiding until Mommy and Daddy came home. | Mommy and Daddy arrived at 7:30 pm. You were very happy to see them. They brought you lots of souvenirs. | S U N D A Y | We were very sad to see you leave...we had a great time and can't wait to do it again. (Remember...We Are Penn State)
