3: Equipment | Liquid Measuring Cup | Dry Measuring Cup | Ice Cream Maker | Mixing Bowls | Measuring Spoons | Ice Cream Scoop
4: You need 1 cup of sugar to make the ice cream.
5: 1 cup is the same as 8 ounces which is the same as 1/2 pint.
6: You need 2 cups of whipping cream for the recipe.
7: 2 cups is the same as 16 ounces which is the same as 1 pint.
8: You need 1 teaspoon of vanilla to make the ice cream.
9: Vanilla is from a flower that grows in warm places. Real vanilla costs a lot of money. | The name of the flower is the orchid.
10: You need to make sure your ice cream maker's bowl is very cold so that the ice cream will freeze.
11: Ice cream freezes at 25 degrees Fahrenheit, and at -3 (minus 3) degrees Celsius.
12: Mix the ingredients together.
13: Plug in your ice cream maker.
14: Pour your ice cream mix into the maker.
15: Turn the ice cream maker on.
16: It will take 20 to 40 minutes for the ice cream to be made.
