It was early in the morning when Jeffrey the giraffe decided to call his best friend Skippy the squirrel to see if he wanted to go to the new safari park. “BRING BRING BRING.”
“Hello?” said Skippy in a small, squeaky voice. “Want to go to the new safari park with me?” said Jeffrey. “Sure,” said Skippy. “Meet me there at noon sharp,” said Jeffrey.
At noon sharp Skippy was waiting for Jeffrey. Jeffrey finally showed up. “Hey, I thought you said noon sharp, not fifteen minutes later,” said Skippy.
“Ahhhhh,” moaned Skippy. “Well, are we going in or what?” said Skippy. “Okay, okay,” replied Jeffrey. “Can we go to a concession stand first?” asked Skippy, “I’m kind of hungry.” “Sure,” said Jeffrey.
So they’re walking along and they came to a smoothie stand and Skippy ordered an Acorn and Chestnut Smoothie. Jeffrey got a Grass and Pineapple.
After that they headed off for the rides. When they arrived at the rides, there was a sign that said, “Animals Taller Than a Tiger Go Left. Animals Shorter Than a Tiger Go Right." This was a problem because they really wanted go on the rides together. They discussed this problem together and Skippy said, “How about you sneak me in?” Jeffrey agreed with the plan. He bent down and Skippy climbed on his head and they snuck in together. So after riding a couple of rides they decided to go on a roller coaster.
But that wasn’t a good idea because on Jeffrey’s head was NOT a good place to be when riding on a roller coaster. It was high up, and Skippy was not buckled in, but he was holding onto Jeffrey’s antlers. This worked for awhile, but once the ride really started to fly, so did Jeffrey's 21-inch tongue.
It came out of his mouth and slapped all over his head. It slapped Skippy around and made his antlers all slippery. Skippy lost his grip, fell off the roller coaster, and landed right on the security guard elephants head. They were both in trouble now. The elephants escorted them from the safari park and they laughed all the way home about their adventure.
