55: About the Photographer Laurie Purcell was born in 1962 in Grand Junction, Colorado. She has lived there her whole life. From a very early age, she was camping and riding motorcycles and loving the outdoors. She is married with 5 children and 7 grandchildren. Laurie and her husband spend most of their time camping and riding quads in the mountains which enables Laurie to pursue her love of nature through photography. With the beauty of the Rocky Mountains literally at her doorstep, Laurie frequently rides to remote lakes or up high peaks to capture the unparalleled beauty of the mountains and streams.
