1: Below are the three parts of the Food Chain: | 1. Producers - 2. Consumers - 3. Decomposers -

3: Plants are called producers. This is because they produce their own food. Plants make their own food by using the sunlight. | Producers

5: There are all types of consumers. Some are: people, deer, rabbits, and snakes. There is a reason why there are consumers in the food chain. The consumers have three parts. They are Omnivores, Herbivores, and Carnivores. | Consumers

6: Carnivores are animals that eat other animals. Some carnivores are very dangerous to be around. Carnivores are very important in the foodchain.

7: Omnivores are animals that eat plants and meat. Some include: whales, frogs, and racoons. Omnivores are what keep the foodchain going.

8: Herbivores are animals that only eat plants. Some people are herbivores, and they are called vegetarians.

9: Decomposers are bacteria and fungi. Decomposers keep the earth clean. When bacteria and fungi decompose an animal it gives the earth nutrients which helps flowers and trees grow. The more trees we have the more oxygen we get.
