23: favorite character: Heachcliff is my favorite character. Even though he was hateful, but he was pitiful too. He has no parents, no one cares about him. Until he met with Catherine. They were fell in love, but Catherine was the person who hurt him deeply. He was a tragically person.

24: like the least I think Catherine was the arch-criminal for the whole revenge. If it is true love between Heachcliff and her, she needs keep the relationship with him, rather than dally with two men. She was a mammonite. She gives up her love it was very regrettable.

A time of growth and renewal. | The main character--Heathcliff’s love—hat—revenge—personal disillusion goes through the novel <Wuthering Heights>, the author describes that two families daedal and tragic love story. In my opinion, the author trying telling us furious class struggle in the Britain and people fight for freedom.

27: Catherine’s betray is major turning point of whole story. She choose wealthy life while betray Heathcliff that caused Heathcliff want revenge them. Also Catherine’s death makes Heathcliff filled with bitter hatred. The greatest hate come from greater love. Heathcliff loves Catherine in his entire life, just because cruel reality distorts his goodness.
