BC: Did you spot the salamander on each page?

FC: Our Salamander Rooms by Mrs. Park and Mrs. Holland's Kindergarten Class

1: We read the book The Salamander Room and learned how to visualize or make pictures in our brains. After reading the story we drew our pictures on paper. Here is what we saw...

6: Can you see the picture in your mind?

7: We thought about our own bedrooms at home. We thought about where our beds are, if we have windows, and where our tables are.

10: We tried to imagine where the salamander would be in our room.

11: We thought about what he would eat and drink. Would there be trees to climb?

14: What other animals would live in our rooms with the salamander?

15: What would our floor and ceiling look like?
