2: Habitat: Turkestan desert cats live among the sand dunes in Centural Asia. The Turkestan desert cat burrows under ground to keep cool.

3: Life Cycle: The females give birth aproximatly two months after mating.Kittens have bold stripes but the stripes fade as they grow into adult cats. The color of their fur also helps them to blend into the sand.Then the kittens eventauly grow into adults. Then mating, and then it starts all over again!

4: Survival Status: The Turkestan desert cat has claws. It is also a rare animal. The reason why scientists don't know much about it is because it is hard to observe in the wild.

5: Motion: Turkestan desert cats run and walk.

6: Diet: The Turkestan desert cat mainly eats lizards, small rodents, and birds. | Turkestan desert cats get water from eating animals.

7: Physical Characteristics: Weight: Four and a half to eight pounds. The Turkestan desert cat is nocturnal, like most cats. Turkestan desert cats are about the size of large domestic cats. The Turkestan desert cat has long hair on it's feet so it does'nt burn them. Also, did you know the long hair on it's feet also prevents them from sinking into the sand?
