Zero to Hero - Page Text Content

BC: After that exhausting adventure, Tom got great respect from the pack. No one thought of him as the weakest anymore. In other words…he went from “zero to hero.”

1: Howl!!! The oldest wolf signifies the start of the hunt. All the other boy wolves come out. The weakest in the pack is Tom. The eldest gives some lasy minute advice and they stalk into the forest.

3: They went on for hours and hours stopping only for a refreshing drink in a stream. After five hours of hunting, they had no luck. Then they hear a howl in the distance. That was their 30-minute warning. Tom nearly collapsed from weariness and hunger. They went on for what seemed to be an hour to Tom. But it was really only fifteen minutes.

5: Suddenly there was a second howl. Time to go home? No, this howl was much too loud. Then it struck Tom. They had found something. Suddenly he had full strength. He rushed toward the pack and saw a huge moose.

7: The entire pack charged after it, but all, except Tom couldn't keep up. Tom kept going. He bit the huge throat of the moose. The moose wasn’t going down that easily. It swung its massive head and shook Tom off. Tom got right back up and bolted toward the moose. Again he bit the moose’s neck; this time taking it down and killing it.
