FC: Adventures with Maybelle

1: Written by: Katie Speck | Retold by Ms. Kennaugh's 2nd Grade

4: Maybelle is tired of living under the refrigerator at the Peabody's house.

5: She is tired of eating crumbs and spills and falls into the soup of a "Very Important Guest.

6: Mrs. Snodgrass screams when she sees Maybelle in her soup.

7: Ramona, the cat, picks up Maybelle and brings her to Mrs. Peabody as a special surprise.

8: The Peabodys stay at the Grand Hotel while the house is sprayed for roaches.

9: Maybelle and Henry the flea join the Peabodys at the hotel as "special guests".

10: Maybelle is disappointed when the chocolate on the hotel pillow is wrapped.

11: Maybelle helps herself to room service at the hotel.

12: Maybelle has a close call and almost gets eaten by the garbage disposal.

13: She almost " meets with human feet".

14: Maybelle is happy when the Peabodys leave the hotel and return to "Home Sweet Home".

15: With a little help from Maybelle, Henry also makes it safely back home.

16: Maybelle and Henry decide to make the best of what they have!!!

17: You can't blame a cockroach for dreaming.
