S: Zoe: The Dog Hero by Madison McGowan

FC: Zoe: The Dog Hero My Dog hero, Zoe by Madison McGowan

1: It was my dog Zoe's favorite day, Treat Day! It was Zoe's favorite day in the whole wide world. She would wait right next to the closet door because she knew her treats were there.

2: I would put all the different kinds of treats right in front of her so she could pick her favorite one. My other dog, Arlo, just watched.

3: When I brought the treats out, she would dive at the bag like a prisoner trying to break out of a jail! It would sound like cookies being squished by many peoples' feet.

4: Then one day the treats were gone! They vanished! They disappeared! The bag of treats was empty. Zoe was on the case!

5: In no time at all, Zoe was on the trail of the rat, otherwise known as "Maggie". Maggie had taken all of the treats and was sneakily eating them in her "doggie cave". Zoe finally caught the "rat" and got her treats precious treats back!
