FC: Our Love Story Lisa Carpenter and Dax Maisto

1: Dax proposed to Lisa on her 25th birthday, September 29, 2008, in the Grand Basin of Forest Park, St. Louis Missouri. But first, their story... from the beginning

2: Dax and Lisa enjoyed the views from the top of the Arch | The First Date: A trip to the Arch

3: First Night Out at the Trattoria Marcella

5: Second Visit: Norfolk, VA A trip to see the USS Wisconsin | And a tour of the USS Harry S. Truman

7: A Day Aboard the USS Harry S. Truman Friends and Family Day 2007

8: For Lisa's 24th birthday, Dax purchased tickets to the St. Louis Symphony, and took her to the St. Louis Zoo

9: Before dinner, Dax and Lisa toured the Fabulous Fox Theatre

10: No birthday would be complete without dinner... | and a Sailor's kiss!

11: Their last day together before Dax left for deployment | was spent paddling around the lake in Forest Park

12: Dax's ship, the USS Harry S. Truman, was deployed in November 2007

13: Lisa did her best to keep busy while Dax was away | Sending care packages and cards to keep his morale going

15: Dax returned home from deployment in March 2008. The two spent a week going out to dinner, and sightseeing around Norfolk. In May, Dax would move out to St. Louis. The two spent more time getting to know each other. When Lisa's birthday rolled around, Dax had a very special gift in mind.

18: Lisa felt TOTALLY relaxed after the massage | in the relaxation room

19: Next stop: The Boathouse Restaurant in Forest Park Then a leisurely boat ride on the lake

20: A bridge on Post-Dispatch Lake lead lead them to... | The Grand Basin

21: At sunset, the fountains lit up

22: "Lisa Janine Carpenter...will you marry me?" "YES! A thousand times YES!"
