2: Songs of Innocence focuses on the innocence and purity of children. The various poems, describe the perception of children through adult's eyes. Also, some of the poems talk about the development and growth of children to adulthood.
3: Songs of Experience
4: Songs of Experience is about how an adult's experience in life can destroy or alter the innocence they originally had. For example, in some of the poems, it explains that shame, jealousy, anger, etc, all exploit the innocence and purity of a person.
