FC: Vacation to Los Cabos August 2009

1: Itinerary Aug 2: Arrive in Los Cabos Aug 3: Get sun burned Aug 4 Snorkeling and Fiesta Aug 5 Sunset Cruise Aug 6: Beach and visit to the Historical Center of San Jose del Cabo Aug 7: Return to San Francisco

2: Picture perfect: relaxing at the resort while we wait for our room.

3: Ann had the sopes and Matt had a burrito arrachero, and 2 for 1 Coronas ...it's always happy hour somewhere in Cabo!

5: A tour of our unit and the resort.

7: Our resort had an affinity for shrub sculptures. It was always too hot to use the putting green.

8: Just a couple of sun-burned tourists

17: One of our favorite shots... ...a smooch under the beach umbrella after snorkeling.

18: Matt was so tired after snorkeling that he had to take a nap inside Haagen-Dasz. We spent a lot of time in the Paraiso Mall at the marina because they had air conditioning and decent bathrooms!

21: Neptune's Finger | Lover's Beach, La Playa del Amor | Lover's Cave: where two go in and three come out | Pirate's Cave: where three go in and two come out

24: We watched a traditional Mayan dance performed by a local dance troupe at the resort's fiesta.

25: The kids at the resort enjoyed the pinata, and we watched more traditional dances from Sinaloa, Oaxaca, and Jalisco. | The highlight was definitely watching Matt -make that "Mateo"-perform the Mexican Hat Dance while the other guests shouted for more shots of tequila!

29: Andrew & Meg, a couple from San Diego, whom we met on the sunset cruise. Pedro & Juan Carlos, our waiters and entertainers for the evening!

31: A great cruise around the bay, where the Carnival ship was also visiting.
