Cruising 2008 - Page Text Content

FC: Cruising 2008

1: The first thing we always have to do is a muster drill. It is hot outside and not a fun activity, but necessary. The is the first, and only cruise we have taken pictures of each other during the drill.

2: We got on the ship and decided to enjoy the drink of the day while we sail away!

4: Let's start celebrating 25 years of marriage!

5: Good-bye bad weather!

6: Wine with dinner every night!

7: Dinner each night was fun. Our dinner companions always had something to talk about - some more than others. We even got an anniversary cake!

8: This trip had a stop in Key West. We have driven to Key West several times, so this was not a big stop for us. We got of the boat to get some Kinos and some Key Lime Pie. We also picked up some Key West wine.

9: There are always activites on board ship. We would watch when we it was something we were interested in. Jeff's favorite sea day activity was napping. I would read on deck while he dozed. It is nice and cool with the shade and the breeze - and you can always find a bite to eat.

10: This is the day we get to relax on the "private" island - with the rest of the people on the ship. This iquana came out andn was fed by some of the locals. He wasn't scared of people at all.

12: Each night a different towel pet is on the bed, with my sunglasses on.

13: These were our favorite bartenders, and our cabin steward.

14: We were the first ones on the boat for this trip - and had a drink when we got on board. We were in happy mode by the time the ship set off to sea! This was our first trip to the Bahamas.

16: So long Miami! | Sail Away!

18: Not a pretty day in Nasau! | We had never been to the Bahamas before and were not impressed.

20: Our dinner companions! This was our 7th cruise and only time that the other people assigned to our table did not come.

21: Gifts and towel pets.

22: We enjoyed the fuzzy navels! | Our trip to the private island was rained out - so we had a typical day at sea.

23: My view when I lay in the sun!
