8: CRISIS AVERTED Throughout last week an emergency operation was carried out by USAMRIID (United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Disesases) and the CDC (Centers for | Disease Control). A building in Virginia used to store monkeys was infected with the Ebola Virus. The Ebola Virus is extremely dangerous. It attempts to convert your body into itself resulting in your body organs turning into "mush". It is extremely contagious and can hop over the monkey species into the human species. Within seven days, signs of contamination will become apparent. Nine out of every ten people die of the virus with two weeks. Catching this virus is almost guarantees death. Fortunately the elite team eliminated all of the monkeys and decontaminated the building. (See page H4)
