FC: The Murphy Family Yearbook 2009

1: The last of 08 was nearer than not Jim and Lisa had a tale we were told They had a gift being delivered to the Reading address By August that gift would behold Lauren and Bob moved sort of here to there You could follow the fish to their shore By tram or by train or by car cross a bridge Seems they're hiding from us even more

2: We opened our eyes to 2009 and wasn't expecting all manor of more We should have cleared all the lanes and strapped on the belts If we had any clue what's in store

4: January started the action packed tale Jen and Nick set a date for their knot Two years is the target gives us plenty of time But as things usually be this be not

8: February brought a new twist to the tale A stork would be bundling pink Two years quickly dissolved in to less than four months So much for two years don't you think

10: March was the month when all choices were made Little by lots things got done The hall then the band and wedding dress fittings A thousand things whittled to none

14: Meanwhile as Lisa continued to cook James grew from a baby to boy Michael and Tracy lifted every rock Looking for their bundle of joy

18: In April it showered for Jen's wedding day The women brought much this and that All manner of gadgets, big boxes and small Every blender, toaster and mat

26: May came the nuptials, they said that they do Three joined as one on that day Last fitting was yesterday today it's too small She looked beautiful in every way

42: As we soaked up the sun the very next day Mike and Tracy had something conceived It appeared that they found something under a rock Something they couldn't believe

44: But why should one due when there could be two Seems the rock was larger by far More car seats and cribs More diapers and bibs Not just a rock but rock stars But wait there was more we found out to be Never one to be done simply There's not one and not two it's all the way to be three Triplets was the greatest news it could be

46: June warmed the heart as three ladies progressed Each building their bundles of joy Before long we would explode five new little gifts Three girls a boy and a boy

47: In July Bob found not much going on So after planning and not planning the day Bought a ring, picked a day fell onto his knee And asked Lauren forever to stay She naturally said yes, she waited for years So now she too has a place in 09 She'll be Bob's wife in two years so they say But for now she will always be mine

48: The beginning of August it showered again This time for the baby of Jen Again all the ladies assembled bearing gifts Our baby has clothes till she's ten

52: By the end of the month more joy came our way Lisa and Jim gave us Jake Ryan A beautiful boy to fill up our hearts And he went through most days without crying

56: Little Jake came home, they put him to bed And back to the hospital we went No sooner than we had our little boy safe Another bundle from the stork had been sent

58: September - six days after was Jake Our first little girl first appeared Isabella Lynn tore right through our hearts A granddaughter to spoil mom feared

60: Big eyes a bright smile and cheeks here to there She fought many hours not wanting to come The baby of our baby has been introduced To Jen and Nick meet the chosen one

68: October is noted for fests and for beer But that wasn't happening this year More baby stuff had to be done Another shower the ladies would fear

69: The gifts they poured in for three not just one There were no more gifts in the gift store Every diaper and onesie in New York it would seem Would come floating up at Mike's door

74: November, November lots to do Both Mike and Nick bought new homes The painting and scraping that had to be done Worked all of the fingers to bones Mike bought a new home and tore it apart New kitchen, new paint and new floor Thought he was crazy, I'm sure that he is But a Palace you see through his door. Jen and Nick did much work all the same time Wallpaper rub off and paint on It is warm and cozy great home for them all Have nothing to rhyme with the word on

76: Both Babies were Christened one first then 2-2 Little angels they were so proud to be Best looking, behaved and brightest of all Our grandkids were the best we could see.

92: And finally an end to a year full of joy But one more great big event As usual when least expect it to be Off to the hospital Tracy went

94: Our three little peanuts arrived one two three So little but loaded with heart Big brother protecting his two little girls He loved them right from the start And now with each day they grow stronger by far They are working so hard to come home Mom and Dad are taking great care Making their new house a home
