FC: A year in the life of Lucas | 2008-2009

1: A year in the life of Lucas has come and gone. He has learned to walk, talk and win over the hearts of all those around. | We are hoping to avoid the terrible twos

2: We went to Dad's 20th reunion at Bucknell and stayed overnight. | Many hours a week are spent playing with his new trucks. | June June

5: Summer fun included a trip to Clark's Elioak farm and a cruise to Bermuda. We all had a great time. | J U L Y

6: We visited Nana and Grandpa in Virginia and caught up with Uncle Kris and Aunt Rachel. | August

7: Lucas loves to play outside. Especially at the pool or on his bike.

9: September | Dad and Lucas hang out during the day together. They enjoy several weekly activities like Mondays at Spanish class and Thursdays at library time.

10: O C T O B E R

11: Playing in the pumpkins at NeuValley. Lucas' curiosity grows every day. | Lucas was Mickey Mouse for his first trick or treating. He enjoyed running up to the doors and then running away.

12: N O V E M B E R | Lucas learned to say cheese for the camera.

13: Thanks-giving in Philly at Uncle Roy's

14: Although Lucas still doesn't understand Christmas, he is very interested in the decorations. He enjoys the relatives too.

15: December

16: J | J A N U A R Y

17: January finally brought some snow. Lucas had his first chance to walk around in it. Snow was not his favorite thing. However, it did give Mom a day off of school.

18: FEBRUARY | Everyday, Lucas brings joy to our hearts. He is so full of energy, that it is hard not to enjoy his presence.

19: Lucas has always had a lot to say. He started to say Mom and Dad and thrilled us.

20: For spring break we went to North Carolina to visit Lucas' new cousin Amber. We spent several days there with Aunt Rachel. | Welcome to the world Amber Lynn

21: M A R C H | Lucas loves bath time

22: A P R I L | Lucas looked very handsome at his first Prom.

23: What an actor! We have serious and silly all within minutes. Bubbles seem to bring out the best in Lucas.

24: 2nd | birthday | MAY | May 24th

25: We celebrated Lucas' birthday in Philly. He didn't like the icing, but he thought the cake was pretty good.
