You gave my life direction, a game show love connection we can't deny. I'm so obsessed. My heart is bound to beat right out my untrimmed chest." | "The way you can cut a rug, watching you is the only drug I need. So gangster, I'm so thug, you're the only one I'm dreaming of. 40: I still find it amazing that this could be the view from my law school every day. The Admitted Student's Day was really great and made me really excited about Pepperdine. :) The day was opened with "You were all thoughtfully and prayerfully admitted to this school." 49: Easter Weekend | April 22-24, 2011

I was in charge of making the black egg this year since Daniel went to Caitlin's for the weekend. | Sisters before Saturday night church service. | Mama is always cooking something delicious!

My name is Mary Imbach. I am 19 years old. I attend Long Beach State and I will be coming to Porterville Thursday night. I apparently have no guests so I am exempt from this question. Besides Humpfrey, previously called Harvey, my bunny will be traveling with me (don't worry, he eats Bacon) and requires no sleeping arrangements. We will be departing Porterville Sunday night. (whenever you let me, as late as possible.) As for church, we have Sunday morning preference due to tradition and Humpfrey can do his job. However Saturday is a reasonable compromise. However, it would be weird to wear a spring dress on a Saturday night. Food is awesome. Humpfrey and I will have cardiac arrest. We will put it to the test, Mom's food is best. Love, Mary & Humpfrey | Yes, it is love...

When Mary tried to get the egg hidden in Grandma's tailpipe, it got pushed too far in there and Dad had to get it out with a shish kabob stick.... | ...it made a mess, but Frankie enjoyed the egg!

Mary decapitated this poor Peep before leaving to go back to Long Beach...

Mother's Day Weekend | May 6-8, 2011 | Mary and I took Mom to get pedicures. Can you guess whose toes are whose? | Chester needs to learn to relax... | Playing Tripoly!

Terrified of Grandma's crazy throws!! | Our family can wipe out a bag of these cookies in no time flat. | Mary and Payton, her stupid dog

 C | May 20, 2011

Even though I technically finished school in December, today I crossed the stage to receive my Bachelor's Degree in Political Science! | I got to wear a triple tassel for graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Even though Cattleman's wasn't technically open until 4:00, our waitress was nice enough to arrange for us to come in early for my own graduation celebration, complete with personalized menus! It was awesome and the food was absolutely delicious!

Yes, Mary ate the bread bowl that the artichoke dip came in and wanted to eat the sundae bowl of sour cream... | My parents gave me my car for graduation! | Roses from Biff (Bob)

 2011

Crepes: a delicious excuse to eat dessert for breakfast!! | Morning time Rock Band! | We went bowling the following afternoon in further celebration of graduation. That night we didn't have enough tokens to play Loaded Questions, so Daniel got to be Darth Vader.

Clara graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Anthropology! | Katie graduated with her Bachelor's in History and a minor in Women's Studies!

Caitlin's earned a double degree in Mathematics and Computer Science! She graduated Summa Cum Laude as well, that crazy girl! | Chris, Danielle and Katie Franco were in attendance. | 2011

I got to join Jenna, her mom and Chase's family at SCICON's end of the year banquet, where Chase has been working as an intern for the past year. | SCICON | BANQUET | June 4, 2011 | Chase honoring one of his students who was awarded the Laurel Leaf Award. | This year's interns

"Hercules comes to mind as a choice for Chase since he often volunteers to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders. Hercules was known for his great strength, courage, and agility. He had to be quick and clever to carry out those twelve famous labors and I can assure you that while Chase has been at SCICON, he has carried out far more than twelve labors in every single department of our program. But then again, gazing at the moon one night, it reminded me of a golf ball and then, bizarrely perhaps, of Chase. But as a former resource to the pros on the River Island golf course, Chase knows and exemplifies that in the game of golf, putting your all into each play can bring you an exceptional level of greatness. A true champion, not unlike Hercules, realizes the impact that every stroke has on the game. It's not just the drive, the pitch, or the putt that makes you a success. It's each swing you take. As you aim to perfect every aspect of your game, the skills you build bring you a lifetime of success. And we have long admired Chase's drive. I will check the night sky from time to time, smile at that golf ball moon, and remember Chase."

June 11-12, 2011 | Visiting James! | I promised James back in August that I would visit him sometime this year up at UC Santa Cruz. I finally came for graduation weekend-the last weekend he would be there. On Friday I enjoyed hanging out with him and his girlfriend, Brittany. We ate awesome ice cream, got in fun political discussions, met up with his sister Katie and his dad for laser tag, and then took a walk on the beach at night.

On Sunday morning I got to celebrate with James and his family as he officially received his Bachelor's degree in Physics. Rather than walking out to Pomp and Circumstance, James got to walk out to the Throne Room Theme from Star Wars: Episode IV. Nerds... | It's amazing that here we are, such close friends 13 years after meeting each other. Our relationship certainly reflects the fact that the first time we interacted James made me cry by making fun of me for not getting an A on a test.
