2: Location | Grey is a doctor at Owensboro Hospital. He uses location to get to the hospital. He has two ways of doing this. He can either find the absolute position with longitude and latitude or he can look at buildings around the hospital to help him find it. That's called relative position.
4: Place | Grey's hospital is known from every where around because of its great elevator music, the best vending machines, and the entrance to the hospital is huge. All of these characteristics make this a place.
6: Region | A region is an area that is characterized by the other areas around it. Grey's hospital is surrounded by a toy factory, a candy factory, and an elementary school. These all describe the hospitals region.
8: Movement | Movement is the way things flow to and from locations. The way Grey gets to and from the hospital is by car. He sends ideas through the Internet. He sends and receives supplies from trucks.
10: Human-Environmental Interaction | Human-environmental interaction is the way human society and the natural environment affect each other.Since Grey's hospital is in the city where there are lots of cars, the air gets polluted.The affect of our cars in the society pollutes the environmental air.
