BC: Bafusca is a political utopia
Bafusca is a Utopian society that has taken the place of Georgia. In this book, you will learn all about the people, plants and activities that thrive in Bafusca.
The population of Bafusca is controlled to remain between 500-600 citizens.
Some of the activities people in Bafusca can enjoy are also common in the out-siders community. Things like tag, soccer, baseball, reading, playing with friends, etc.
There are two main natural resources found in Bafusca. Cotton and fresh water are used to trade for food, medicine, money, or other supplies.
All of the people in Bafusca are vegetarians because of the fact that animals are not allowed, for various reasons. The food my people eat come from all around the globe, some from Brazil, Hawaii, and even some home grown. This is because we trade some of our good for things like food, supplies and money. | There are four gift giving/receiving holidays celebrated in Bafusca. One at the end of every season, (While temperature remains the same, seasons are still tracked). There is also one day a year when everyone is released from school or work. It is April 3rd, the day Bafusca was founded in 1932.
Bafuscians do not make money, but they make a living. At the age of 14 everyone is trained for a specific job and once they start that job at 18, they are given a house and receive a weeks worth of food once a week. Anyone who has a job receives the same things everyone else has.
Bafusca makes money through exports. We sell or trade things like fresh water, cotton, crops, and seeds. All the money gained from this goes to the making of schools, roads, technology, and pretty much everything else in Bafusca.
The government in bafusca is know to the people as the "Committee". There are ten people on the committee and they are elders. It is a requirement that the committee be made up of elders because it is easily seen that the elder have the most knowledge and wisdom. The committee works though a series of meetings. When ever something is to be choses, like jobs for instance, the committee is brought together and they choose together who should do what. This is similar to everything else the committee chooses, although sometimes observation is necessary before a meeting. The committee was chosen though a series of voting. Now, whenever a committee member chooses to retire, the other elders vote again and that person fills in for the retiree.
Bafusca has many rules, but most of which are simple and painless. Things like do not be rude, always apologize after you have made a mistake or been rude, etc. There are many rules like that and the consequence for breaking one is a simple reminder with a short talking-to. There are also many larger rules that have much worse consequences if disobeyed. Things like stealing, inflicting pain | on another purposefully, (Not a small pinch, but a punch or kick), and breaking someones belongings on purpose. These result in a harsher punishment. There are also a few rules that result in exile, things like murder and arson. Who ever commits such a crime is exiled immediately, no questions asked.
Unlike some other countries around the world, Bafusca gets along surprisingly well with other societies around the globe. We are allied with Oogly Boops, Zeurika, Ioakia, and Moum Tezei.
Bafusca is known around the globe not for its actions or people, but for its exports. Bafusca is one of the few utopias that export things like cotton and water. Plus, Bafusca distributes larger amounts of cotton than any other utopia.
Bafusca's National Anthem Bafusca, Bafusca, alike we all are Together forever, under the stars Side by side, we stand tall We are a society after all. Sameness achieved, giving everything ease Less than the best, eliminated for sure Pain or discomfort, removed, no doubt Rules enforced to keep rudeness out Bafusca, together we stand, alike and united
