2: This is the Old North Church. The Church is famous because it was where the lanterns were hung to warn people that the British were coming. The Church had a secret staircase up to the top, that was hidden behind an old organ. This is where Robert Newman hung the lanterns in order to signal that the British were here. The Church is 191 feet tall. | This grave was dedicated to those who were killed in the Boston massacre. The Boston massacre wasn't really a massacre. There was only 5 people killed. How it started was drunken people were throwing snowballs at some British solders, and one of them might of had a rock or something in it, which caused one solder to fire his gun. and the rest did. The solders were only scared for their lives so they accidentally fired.
3: , This was the window that was used for Robert Newman to make his escape. To get to the highest part of the church was to goo behind a organ which has a narrow stair case up to the top. After Robert Newman hung the lanterns the British forces noticed them and went up to the Old North Church. Robert has limited time to escape so he chose the window. When the British broke in finally they could not find him. | This is one of the pews at the Old North Church. People would come to church early in the morning to get good seats in church, and richer family's would deck out their pews with comfortable chairs fabrics and other decorations. The tin box on the flood is something that was filled with hot coals so you would stay warm. You were in church for multiple hours back then so it was good to be comfortable.
