2: China has a communist government. A communist government is when is when a socialist republic is ruled by one single party. The population is 1.3 million with about 56 different ethnic groups. There is 3,696,000 square miles of land.
3: China is diverse with deserts, mountains, and fertile river basins The seasonal climate varies from bitter cold in winter to unbearable heat in the summer.
4: Lack of pasture land for grazing so there was less milk and dairy so soy beans were used as an alternative. Little space to grow and raise cattle cause the Chinese to plant vegetables raise chicken and pigs. In Northern China, the geography geography effects the agriculture so wheat is the main crop. From wheat they produce noodles, pancakes, and dumplings.
5: The climate differs because of extensive and complex topography.
6: The climate effects the food production through changes in temperature, water resources, soil condition, as well as extreme weather events. | Hot climate makes people eat spicy food.

10: Garlic, ginger, green onions, chilies, cilantro or Chinese parsley, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, five spice powder, chili sauce, chili paste, and rice vinegar are popular for preparing traditional recipes.

12: This is a spicy hot dish of tofu and sauteed vegetables, in a hot pepper & garlic sauce, served over rice. Saute garlic, carrots, and onion in oil for several minutes in a large pan, until the onions are just golden. Mix kochujang, cayenne pepper, sugar, and soy sauce in a small bowl. (You can reduce or omit the cayenne out if you want this dish to be milder - though remember that the kochujang is, by itself, spicy - and if you like things really spicy, double it or even more.) Add mixture, broccoli, green onions, and tofu to pan. Mix gently until vegetables and tofu are covered with pepper sauce. Add water (if you didn't drain the tofu well, you may want to skip adding water) to pan and cover. Let steam for a few minutes. Remove from heat. Add sesame oil, mix gently. Serve hot, over rice. | 4 servings over rice 3 tablespoons oil 4-5 cloves of garlic, sliced thin 1 carrot, peeled and sliced 1 medium white onion, sliced 3 tablespoons kochujang (Korean red chili pepper paste) 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper 1 2/3 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons soy sauce 1/4 pound small broccoli flowerettes 1 pound firm tofu, drained, pressed & sliced 4 green onions 3 tablespoons water 1 tablespoons sesame oil
13: 1 Heat oil in skillet. 2 Sauté garlic and onions until tender. 3 Add pork and sauté until browned. 4 Add coleslaw blend and stir-fry on high heat about 5 minutes. 5 Remove from heat and add seasonings, and salt and pepper to taste. 6 To assemble, place 2 tbs filling near corner towards you. Then fold over left and right sides. Dampen edges of the corner that is away from you, and finish rolling. 7 Deep fry at 350F (or just use a fry daddy), until golden brown. 8 Drain on paper towels and enjoy! 9 These can also be frozen and fried later. Some people like a dipping sauce for egg rolls.
