6: We arrived in Montego Bay, Jamaica December 14, 2010 We were greeted with Red Stripe Beer and transported to Couples Tower Isle Resort in Ocho Rios

14: Nathen & Dad went to Sandals Golf and Country Club in the mountains while it poured back at the resort. They had to use a caddy, but despite professional advice Dad would only use a putter & 5 Wood. The caddy also started to kick the ball back to them while they were putting and say, “Try again..."
15: Nathen and I made many friends as we joined other couples for drinks and shots like: Bloody Brains, Bob Marley, Blowjob, Muff Diver...the night got a little crazy... | Mike, Nathen, & Steve
16: December 17, 2010 Not everyday was so nice, perhaps today's weather was reflecting how Nathen was feeling after a night full of making new friends...
18: Kim took the opportunity to assist with the cooking demonstration while Nathen was napping.

20: We tried out the Veggie Bar - which had awesome sweet potato chips and smoothies...although I think Mom & Dad preferred Jamaican Smiles. Nathen got recruited to play volleyball every time they played, but I don't think he minded.
22: They finally started decorating for Christmas with real pine trees. The Reggae Christmas tree always smelled like cloves.
24: December 18, 2010 | We started the day with a couples massage, bartered with the shell guy to get the king & queen of the ocean shells, Nathen played volleyball, ate lunch, then it was time to get ready for the wedding – a pretty stress free start to the day!
25: We kept our fingers crossed all day for good weather, but you can't mess with God's business mon... Dad & Kim waited in the room watching Dexter.

28: We asked our family back home to light this candle on December 18, 2010 to keep us in their thoughts and hearts as we lit a new chapter in our lives.
29: The wedding had to be moved inside because of rain, but rain is good luck, right?
30: Signing the marriage license & learning that Kim was considered a spinster...
31: Cutting our Jamaican Rum Cake According to Jamaican traditional the bride & groom take turns biting the cake out of the other's mouth...Nathen chewed on his piece first before sticking it back out for me to bite...
33: We kept taking pictures on the garden side of the resort, but we were really dying to take pictures with the ocean before it got dark. Dad of course had to practice fist bumps with Nathen as this had become his cool new thing to do.

38: We finally got over to the ocean side to take pictures and we were surprised to see a beautiful rainbow.
42: The sunset was breathtakingly beautiful...
49: We joined our dear new friends Mike and Sue for a drink before our supper on the beach. Mike graciously volunteered to video the wedding for us. | After the wedding pictures we had to change because we got soaked jumping in the sand and waves.

53: We were surprised to come back to our room to find pink rose petals scattered on the floor and on the bed.
54: December 19, 2010 Enjoying the sun - we kayaked, used the water tricycles, and swam!
55: The garden side was lush & beautiful, but we didn't spend much time there...
57: The resort was beautiful at night, especially with a full moon and Christmas lights.
58: December 20, 2010 Glass bottom boat tour - saw scuba divers, sting rays, coral, a sunken ship and safely made it back to the resort before getting seasick...

62: Catamaran Cruise was lots of FUN! Drinking, laughing, swimming, dancing, & a sunset...
64: We enjoyed the food, drinks, vendors, and entertainment. Tonight was winter solstice and a lunar eclipse. | For our last night we sat with our new friends at the beach party!

70: Aunt Carrie & Aunt Nina put together a lovely post wedding bridal shower for the new bride in April 2011.
71: Getting ready for the reception was a huge undertaking! Everyone pitched in and was in charge of making or bringing something.

74: So many of our friends and family braved the weather to celebrate with us...we were truly touched.
