FC: Life brings simple pleasures to us every day. It is up to us to make them wonderful memories. | The Candioto Family 2006 - 2007
First day of School August 2006 | After much thinking and praying, Mom decided to take a job teaching at Paradise High School. Cade and Kendall would grow up as Panthers. Although it was one of the toughest decisions that she ever had to make, it soon became obvious that this was where God wanted the Candioto family.
Dear Cade, I know the idea of moving to Paradise was a little hard on you at first, but as we all prayed about God's will for our lives, He showed us all, even you, that this is the place He wants us to serve Him. I know that you will be a servant for God your entire life and I cannot wait to see how He uses you here in Paradise. You have such a tender heart and a genuine love for people so I know that you will make friends easily. Remember Kendall is starting school this year too and she will need you to look out for her. God gave you a big responsibility when he made you the "big brother". Dad and I are so proud of you and love you so much. Always remember..."I love you forever, I like you for always. As long as you're living, my baby you'll be." I love you! Mom
Dear Kendall, It is hard to believe that you're already starting Kindergarten. Dad and I love you so much and are so proud of the precious little girl that you are. I know God will use your strong will to help you do the right thing even when you must do it alone. Remember to always treat others with kindness and the way that you would want to be treated. God blessed us when He gave you to us and we can't wait to see His plans for your life. As you go through these school years, always remember that you have a family that loves you and will support you in everything you choose to do. Kendall, words alone can never express how much we love you. You will forever be our little baby girl. I love you! Mom
Cade's 7th B-day!! | Cade's birthday fell the week we started school so we decided to have his party a couple of weeks later so that he could get to know some Paradise kids and invite them too. He had his party at the Decatur Skating Rink and had a ton of friends there, old ones from Decatur and new ones from Paradise. Everyone had a great time. | Skating is SOOO tiring!
After opening a very cool Superman suit for his birthday, Cade received a letter with a hint about his next present... something to help him fly through the air with speed. It was a go-cart! He and Dad had fun tinkering with it and making a superman flag to put on it.
It's always fun when we can get away to Holly Lake Ranch in East Texas. It is so relaxing just to slow down and enjoy being outdoors, doing things together with the family. | LABOR DAY WEEKEND - 2006
It wasn't long before Cade and Kendall were showing off their school spirit... GO PANTHERS!
Paradise has a tradition that the kindergarteners make a car and "drive" it down main street during the homecoming parade and show it off at the homecoming pep rally. We had no idea how much time some of these people put into their cars! Oh well, Kendall had fun making it and we were very proud of her and her cool ride.
Trick or Treat! | The kids had fun dressing up for the Fall Festival at school. Captain Hook and a crazy black cat accompanied two American Idol contestants. | HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Thanksgiving was spent in Oklahoma with Me-Ma, Pa-Pa, Uncle Danny, Aunt Carmen, Camilla and Jasmine.
One of the first things Kendall got involved in | was playing soccer. She was on a very good team and the Mitschke's taught her so much. She had a lot of fun.
 Christmas | 2006
There are so many fun things to do at Christmas time like decorating the tree and spending time with family. | This year Grams and the kids made a ginger bread house.
It didn't take long for Mrs. Boyd to see that Cade is a natural performer. He got the lead role of Santa Clause in the 1st grade Christmas program. | Could this be the REAL Santa?
A Christmas Eve Tradition at Grams and Gramps' house.
The excitement of Christmas morning leads to...
a thankful heart, the best gift of all!
Although Superman was clearly Cade's favorite dress-up character, every once in a while, Captain Hook, Jesus or Elvis entered the building. | After a hard day's work fighting crime with Super Girl, even Superman is entitled to a bit of "R & R." There's nothing like bonding with your Dad over an open campfire. | Hey, Batman! (a..k.a. Tucker) Super Heroes are supposed to work together!
Kendall learned so much her first year in basketball. She was very coachable, finally learning that her arms only have to stay up on defense! | Cade's first year at Paradise playing basketball was a huge success. He made lots of new friends and had a winning season! | Go Panthers!
 SPRING '07
For Kendall's 6th Birthday, Mom and Dad surprised her with a calico kitten. It was the best present ever!!
Kendall had her birthday party at the Decatur Skating Rink too. She had lots of friends and lots of fun!
 Cut the Cake!
Hey, Cade...how about pizza after the game? | BASEBALL | Cade had such a great year playing machine pitch baseball. He played short stop and batted third in the lineup. His coach, Matt Edwards was also our pastor at church and we were so thankful that he had such a godly man to coach him.
The end of Kendall's Kindergarten year brought the very special wedding of "Q" and "U", as well as a spring stage performance staring some really cute chicks! Kendall poses with Maddie Mitschke, Hadleigh Anthony and Savanah Kott.
Matt Edwards was not only a great baseball coach to Cade but also helped lead him to Christ one day after practice in the Spring of 2007. A couple of weeks later, Cade followed up his decision with believer's baptism . That same day, the Candioto family officially became members of First Baptist Church of Paradise. | Brother Matt Edwards will always hold a special place in Cade's heart. | Mom and Dad could not have been prouder! | Brayden Ford was there to share Cade's special day.
The end of the year brought lots of fun activities like Elementary Playday which consisted of several running events, water games and a huge slip and slide.
Mrs. Morales, Cade's 1st grade teacher | Mrs. Black, Kendall's Kindergarten teacher, gave her the award for most inquisitive. | Holly Berry, Cade's GT teacher, made learning so exciting! Cade had so much fun dressing up as Superman for the GT end of the year showcase after researching him and making a power point presentation about his hero.
Summer is finally here! | And what could be more fun than a trip to San Antonio. Sea World was so much fun. We really enjoyed watching the shows, especially Shamu, and of course, riding all the water rides!
We stayed in a hotel near the river walk and spent a lot of time there enjoying the beautiful sights. The Alamo, of course, was a must see and the kids really enjoyed the caverns. Cade even got to test his fear of heights there by climbing a huge rock wall.
One of the most memorable stops was a visit to the Magic Time Machine Restaurant. The kids had so much fun taking pictures with various characters and choosing dinner from the very unusual menu items.
Wishing you everything happy for your birthday! | Happy 8th Birthday, Cade!! | Cade had a lot of friends join him at the Bridgeport Pool to celebrate his 8th birthday. It was a great way to end a fantastic summer and our first year at Paradise. Unfortunately, a very strong wind storm forced the party to end too soon. It was still fun to see all of Cade's new friends and look forward to another great year in Paradise.
 The End
