S: Foundation Fellows Class of 2011
BC: The End
FC: Foundation Fellows | Class of 2011
Oxford University, Summer 2008 | Why yes, three years later, we do still look this good.
 New York & Washington D.C. - Spring 2008
We began our travels together as most Foundation Fellows do -- visiting the nation's capital and the Big Apple, making corrupt deals on Wall Street, cuddling statues of famous people, bargaining in Chinatown, being sketchy in neighborhoods, and bonding with each other to become the CLOSEST CLASS KNOWN TO HUMANITY.
Europe - Summer 2008 | After quite an enlightening semester at Oxford University, we traversed the European continent, finding beds in new places and making memories to last a lifetime.
Our second spring break took some of us to South Korea for an incredible spiritual experience in a Buddhist monastery. Living with nuns, we were struck by their compassion and devotion. They were struck by our American height and gastrointestinal systems! | South Korea - Spring 2009
 Costa Rica - Spring 2009
In Costa Rica, we learned about ecotourism, ecology, sustainability, Pura Vida, and became adventurers in the wild. Two words: waterfalls and rainbows.
 Costa Rica - Spring 2009 | Costa Rica - Spring 2009
Galapagos - Spring 2010 | Half of us set sail for the Galapagos where we snorkeled with creatures such as tropical fish, sea turtles, and members of the class of 2010. After retracing Darwin's steps on the picturesque islands, we immersed ourselves in Andean culture on the Ecuadorian mainland.
Fiji - Spring 2010 | We love Margaret!
 Fiji - Spring 2010
In Fiji we learned the true meaning of hospitality, living in home stays with local families. With our new friends as our guides, we fell in love with the natural beauty and culture of the South Pacific. The breadfruit dessert...not so much.
 India - Spring 2011
A few of us found ourselves in India, awash in the vestiges of Mughal culture. Outlasting the spiciness of the food, the stench of the streets, and unknown illnesses, we resurrected the India of old through exploration of stately palaces and religious shrines.
Jordan - Spring 2011 | Our journey through Jordan's expansive desert, lush hills, and ancient ruins exposed us to its history, religion, politics, medicine, and universities. We rode camels, froze in tents under thick blankets camping with Bedouins, and treated ourselves to a "spa" experience floating in the Dead Sea slathered in mud.
 Jordan - Spring 2011
 Jordan - Spring 2011
 Jordan - Spring 2011
We're everywhere! Arizona, Hungary, Jordan, England, and CNN as the future of our government...no big deal. | Wherever we end up next, we'll always have the Fellowship to thank for all the memories, opportunities, and each other.
