FC: The Great Depression By- Ethan Mona
1: What was the cause of it? There are five main causes of this crisis. One; The stock market crash of 1929. Two; Bank failures. Three; Reduction in Purchasing Across the Board. Four; American Economic Policy with Europe. Five; Drouigh
2: The span of the Depression. It lasted for a total of nine years from 1930 to 1939.
3: Who was affected during these years? Everyone from farmers to business men women and children all suffered.
4: Life during the depression? As I had mentioned in the last page everyone suffered an in was a horrible type of suffering. People had no money to purchase food farmers had no money to grow food and on top of that for people who attempted to sell there belongings to get food and water there was no buyers so no one made money or got rid of money. Many people were also at a loss of there employment.
6: The previous slide is a slide of images these are various images of women quilting, men and women waiting in bread and soup lines, people looking at prices and produce in a store front, and a young girl standing in a rundown shanty cooking.
7: Above shows a father and two children going into the shanty to get out of the approaching dust storm. And below three children have to share a bed.
9: The end of the crisis was in the later 1930's each of the "New Deals" had there own affect and were slowly progressing into ending the poverty in America.
