1: Nebula | Hi, I am Berny. Right now I am a Nebula which is the first stage of my life cycle. I was formed from a super nova explosion which was my mom. The explosion is what provided the gas and dust. Those materials formed into a ball from gravity. The Helium in me is then changed into hydrogen from nuclear fusion. This will fuel me for a long time to come even though I am still a youngster now.
2: Main-Sequence Star | Right now I am in the main sequence star part of my life cycle and this stage comes after Nebula. This is the longest part of my life cycle. Nuclear fusion is still occurring to keep me alive. This process does release a lot of energy though, which then helps me become brighter and hotter As long as I have a steady supply of helium my size will stay steady. I might stay in this stage for billions of years so I won't be a child for long.
3: Giant, Supergiants | Now I have become a Red Giant. This stage comes after the main sequence Star. In this stage I expand and become a lot bigger. My outer layers expand and cool off from lack off energy. Right now I am a Red Giant which means that I am about 10 times bigger than earth"s sun. Supergiants are at least 100 times bigger then earth's sun which is huge. I can't even imagine being that big.
4: White Dwarfs | I am now a white dwarf star which comes after the Red giant stage. This is the end of my life cycle. I am classified as a white dwarf if I am the size of earth's sun or smaller. One of the reasons that I am this small is that I'm the small leftover center of what I used to be. I am white because I have run out of hydrogen and I am cooling off. I can cool off for billions of years so that means I am could still live for a while. See ya!
